Keep a Tight Rein Over your Wedding Plans
As many Hollywood movies have documented – from Father of the Bride to Meet the Fokkers – planning a wedding can be a stressful, but rewarding experience. Wedding planning involves thorough organisation, accurate planning, a head for punctuality and the memory of an elephant – all four of which are hard to come by in one person!
But regardless of whether you can afford to hire your own wedding planner or instead have to rely on yourself and your family to get your wedding plans running like clockwork, it’s important to maintain a tight rein over your wedding preparations to ensure things go the way you want them to!
For starters, compile a guest list: it’s a good idea to determine your out-of-town guest list first, and then draw up an entire guest list. You’ll also need to decide key dates, such as your engagement party, your bachelor/bachelorette bash, your rehearsal dinner and, of course, your actual wedding day!
It’s also crucial to calculate how much space you’ll need before you decide on where to book the location for your wedding. You might have had your heart set on the lavish ballroom at the local hotel – but if the space available at the venue is simply too big (or small), it won’t be practical to hold your wedding there. Once you’ve chosen your ceremony location, make sure you don’t just book it for the day of your wedding but also book for your rehearsal as well! Moreover, choose a florist and invite them to look over the wedding location with you, so your flower arrangements can be tailored specifically to harmonise with your ceremony as much as possible.
If you’re planning your wedding yourself, it’s a good idea to hand over some control of the wedding planning duties to a member of your family – such as a parent or a sibling – as the countdown to your wedding day gets shorter and shorter. This way, you’ll have time to do some essential bridal preparations, including wedding gown fittings, selection of bridesmaid’s dresses and the arrangements for hair and make-up.
And while it’s easy to get caught up in the more romantic bits of wedding planning, like choosing what music to have and buying wedding rings, it’s also important to keep in mind certain legal necessities, such as applying for a marriage licence and looking into changing your name (if applicable).
If you choose to have your wedding in a hotel, you’re sure to find many hotel wedding packages to suit you. This way, you’ll be able to house your out-of-town guests in the same hotel as the wedding ceremony and take advantage of the expert wedding planning advice that experienced hotel experts can give.

Is it necessary to get a wedding planner?
Me and my fiancee are planning to get married in Denver this April, and have a budget of around $10,000. I realize this is a very small budget but we still want to be able to do things nicely so we cannot waste alot of money. Both of us have almost no experience with weddings so there is alot of room for us to make mistakes, so we would like to hire a planner but are aprehensive of the cost so we would not want to do it unless it is completely necessary

What is your best advice for other brides planning a wedding?
Whether you are in the midst of wedding planning now, or were happily wedded years ago, what tips, ideas or advice can you share with other brides? What do you wish you had done differently, or what are you glad you did? What unique, personal touches did you include in your own wedding? Do you have any cool ideas on: party favors, wedding party gifts, bridesmaids attire, invitations/programs, child attendants, showers/bachelor(ette) parties, the ceremony/vows/etc, wedding cake, photography/videography, the honeymoon? (These are just ‘prompts’ to spark your memory – you don’t have to answer them all!!) I am finishing my wedding planner/workbook and would like to include tips from real-life brides. Your input and ideas would be a huge help!!

The Most Memorable Miami Weddings (Miami Weddings)
The best weddings are made in Florida and nothing can compare with Miami weddings. So if you want the best Miami weddings that make a lifelong impression on your guests and your loved one, Miami weddings are the closest you can have to a perfect wedding.
Miami weddings can be a traditional wedding or beach wedding but most wedding planners will recommend a beach wedding for that added touch and class to make your big day truly romantic. There are many beautiful beaches in the "Sunshine State" of Florida but Miami weddings are the best.
It is advisable for would-be couples to avail of the services of a wedding planner. For the bride, this is big load off her shoulders because there are so many things to do that she might end up tired on her wedding day. Besides, wedding planners are professionals who had planned many weddings before and are not likely to overlook something.
Their services include planning your wedding from the budget to the actual ceremony itself to planning the reception afterwards. You can ask them to plan your honeymoon too within Miami itself since they know the environs very well like the best beach condo units and the best in fine dining in the evenings. They can also recommend which concerts are available in the evenings for a romantic touch.
Florida beach weddings are getting more popular each day and most prefer Miami weddings especially during this coming spring break. The weather is usually cooperative around this time of the year and a beach wedding is ideal for that outdoors ambiance which your guests will surely appreciate.
Miami is a known tourist spot so it can get crowded at times but there are secluded areas where Miami weddings can held in relative privacy, away from the prying tourist crowd. In fact, some Miami weddings are held in an ancient Spanish monastery recently restored and renovated at great cost. That should provide the perfect backdrop for those very special and unforgettable Miami weddings.
Miami weddings planned properly can provide most brides with that once-in-a-lifetime chance to enjoy and celebrate the most-awaited day of their lives in total rejoicing and happiness. Nothing can duplicate Miami weddings when it comes to that perfectly romantic matrimonial event.
Wherever you are right now, plan your Miami weddings with the help of wedding planners and you can even choose your favorite spot anywhere in South Beach or other less crowded areas of Miami. You will be guaranteed a lifetime of memories that will last forever even up to your retirement years.
